Throughout 2025 I have been directing and editing a soon-to-be announced feature for Imagine Documentaries. I’m also developing a new film with director Patrick O’Brien, who’s had ALS for over 20 years, and recently completed an amazing short film (which I edited) "The Hemingway."

"Louder Than Guns," the feature documentary I directed and edited last year about gun violence and gun rights in America will be released in Spring 2026. The film premiered at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival and features Ketch Secor, his band Old Crow Medicine Show and Public Radio's David Greene (host of "Left, Right & Center"). Through the power of music and the art of listening to all sides of this polarizing issue (gun owners and non, rural and urban), the film seeks to inspire meaningful conversation about how to create safer communities and a better future for this country.

I was recently interviewed in-depth by Daniel House for his podcast "THE CREATIVE ASYLUM" (also available on "Spotify" or "Apple Podcast.") My 6-part television series "The Power of Film" which I created with filmmaker Laura Gabbert and features legendary UCLA film professor Howard Suber, continues to stream on MAX after its debut on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) . The series interweaves dramatic scenes from America's most popular and memorable films with Professor Suber’s brilliant teachings about how and why they work. "The Power of Film" is an independent, labor-of-love project which took many years to make. I hope you'll be inspired by it and share it with filmmakers, students, writers, and anyone who loves cinema.

"Perfect Sweat" is a 7-part series created and hosted by Mikkel Aaland, who wrote the definitive book about global sauna, steam and sweat culture throughout history, Sweat (1978). A decade ago, I worked closely with Mikkel and Producer Greg Moga to help develop this series. It's now available at the "Perfect Sweat" website. This unique health/travel show visits the most amazing saunas around the world. I directed the 7th and final episode at Burning Man in 2019.
